May 31, 2013 is deadline day for companies to register their chemicals to comply with REACH. If you’re doing business in the European Union, you might want to see how REACH will affect you. It looks like all chemical substances will be considered no matter what they are. There’s a pretty hefty penalty for non-compliance too – it will be considered a criminal offense with fines and possible prison time involved. Reviewing the rules and regulations might be a good idea – better safe than sorry.
