dollar energy bill in its operations involving
production of crude oil and
natural gas, conversion into hundreds of refined
and chemical products and their distribution
to consumers worldwide.
Dennis Stanley will
explain how ExxonMobil’s Global Energy
Management System is identifying new ways to
reduce the company’s energy costs and relate
examples. Since 2000, this disciplined approach
has identified more than $1.5 billion of savings
and helped reduce emissions at ExxonMobil
operations worldwide.

fuel extraction.
The Regulated Fuels Department is responsible for
maintaining supply reliability for the Company’s
generation plants, ensuring rate stability for the
company’s customers in the Carolinas and Florida
service territory, and ensuring environmental
compliance. This presentation illustrates Progress
Energy’s strategies (price hedging, fuel diversity,
procurement/transportation options, etc.) for
managing the rising costs of fuel procurement
and transportation to its generation facilities.
