Nonwovens Industry:  Internships and Future Jobs Available

Bet you never heard of the nonwovens industry. Well it just may be your future. Globally it is a growing industry.  Often companies have difficulty in finding qualified people.

Nonwovens are in over 500 end products… everything from baby diapers to furniture.  Companies in the industry produce fibers, chemicals, fabrics, end products and machinery.  The industry grows at 4-6% per year.  And, jobs are relatively secure as they aren’t typically outsourced.

Because nonwoven companies have difficulty in finding the right people, INDA has established an intern program.  The purpose of the program is to connect prospective interns to companies. Companies are looking for everything from engineers to plant/factory personnel….and, of course, future executives.   INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics is a trade association that promotes the growth of nonwovens worldwide.
