Chairman of the Board of Management at MANN+HUMMEL in Ludwigsburg. In 1977 Alfred Weber took up service as a career soldier in the "Bundeswehr" (the German armed forces ). He studied economics and business administration at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich and after 12 years of service retired from the army with the rank of Captain . Alfred Weber started his industrial career in 1989 as a manager at Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch (since 1997 BorgWarner) in Frankenthal and Kirchheimbolanden. In 2002 Alfred Weber moved to the US to serve for Borg Warner as President and General Manager for a number of different business units. He participated in the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School in Boston. In 2010 he came to MANN+HUMMEL in Ludwigsburg and has since held the position of Chairman of the Board of Management.
