With these ten cardinal rules, any marketer will understand the do’s and don’ts, the language of green, how to marry ecology to economy, how to use education as a tool for motivation and more - critical to building their green business and communications successfully.

Premiering! New Industry Guidelines: Flushability

Drew McAvoy, The Procter & Gamble Company and Kevin Possell, Kimberly-Clark Corporation
Flushability offers great convenience to consumers for many products. INDA and EDANA committees worked jointly over the past three years to proactively develop guidelines to ensure the continued market acceptance of flushable nonwoven based products.

The guidelines, a significant milestone for both the industry and consumers alike, will be unveiled at WOW 2008 - learn about the guidelines and how your company can get involved.

What Goes Around Comes Around: Lifecycle Analysis

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and product eco profiles are valuable and increasingly important tools used for measuring environmental impact, sustainability and identifying environmental performance-improvement objectives.

Extensive work has been completed in these areas during the development and commercialization of IngeoTM fibers - a renewable and sustainable raw material option for nonwovens.

Comparisons of gross fossil energy usage and greenhouse gas generation for NatureWorks Biopolymer and petrochemical-based polymers will be provided.

The winner of the first annual WOW Innovation Award will be announced based on attendee votes cast during the previous evening’s reception. Program subject to change.

The opinions expressed at WOW 2008 are those of the speakers and not necessarily that of INDA or its Board of Directors.
