Marketing and Communications Director, EDANA
Abby Bailey is the Marketing and Communications Director for EDANA, the international Association representing the nonwoven and related industries, a position she has held since November 2008.
Based in Brussels, Abby is responsible for developing the internal and external communications activities to promote understanding and awareness of nonwoven products used in personal and household hygiene, medical protection and filtration, automotive, and construction. Abby also manages communications programmes designed to promote specific sectors or products, and the organisation, coordination and promotion of key events to a variety of industry and product application sectors in the areas of nonwovens, absorbent hygiene products and related products. Abby is an Australian who has been based in Brussels since 2006.
Prior to her role with EDANA, Abby managed pan-regional corporate communications projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent for FedEx Express from 2006 to 2008. Prior to this, she was responsible for communications activities, CSR and issue management for South East Asia and Australasia for FedEx Express in Asia, and has held marketing and communications, and Government relations positions in Melbourne, Australia.
Abby started her career working for The Premier of Victoria, supporting the information needs of the Victorian Government and individual Ministers of the Crown.
