Q: Can I get a meeting room at the convention center?

A: Meeting rooms at the convention center are reserved for Exhibitors only. "Meeting Rooms On Demand" are offered on an "as space is available" basis to attendees starting April 1, 2016. If this service is offered, a maximum of a two hour block of time may be purchased daily May 3-5. It should also be noted that services/set-up is limited for this service if it is offered.

A: Show Management is INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry. Lori Reynolds, Director of Events and Administration, lreynolds@ inda.org, is responsible for the overall management of the show as well as all onsite logistics. Marilyn Bellinger, Associate Director of Sales, mbellinger@ inda.org, is responsible for selling exhibit space. Joan Izzo, Director of Marketing, jizzo@inda.org, is responsible for marketing IDEA16.

Q: How far are the hotels from the convention center? How do I reserve a hotel room?

A: IDEA16 has contracted with multiple hotels in downtown Boston. Exhibitors have priority access to the hotel blocks and can find detailed information in the Exhibitor Service Manual. Hotel information will be available at a later time for show attendees. Check this site under the "Hotel Tab" for information this fall.

Q: How many exhibitors will there be?

A: IDEA16 anticipates having approximately 500 exhibiting companies.

Q: How many attendees are you expecting?

A: IDEA16 anticipates having over 7,000 attendees.

Q: Can I have a sponsorship or advertise at IDEA?

A: Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available for Exhibitors only.

Q: Can I walk the show floor for free?

A: No, there is a fee to walk the show floor.

Q: Are there discounts available for registration fees?

A: There are discounts for INDA Members. There is also a discount for registering early.

Q: Can I get a day pass to walk the show floor?

A: Yes, you can purchase daily exposition passes.

Q: Can I walk the show floor in one day?

A: IDEA is a huge show, covering 500,000 gross square feet of exhibit space, so it is unlikely that you will be able to walk the entire exposition floor and see all the Exhibitors in one day.

Q: Are there any conference presentations at IDEA?

A: There are conference presentations before the Exposition starts each day, (Tuesday, May 3 – Thursday, May 5), from 9:00 am – 10:30 am.

A: IDEA is held every three years in a rotation schedule with two other nonwovens trade shows: INDEX (Europe) and ANEX (Asia).
