Following is a list of active INDA committees that are working toward achieving the INDA Mission.  Each listing includes the committee’s activities, chairperson, and meeting frequency.

APPAREL COMMITTEE
Promote and grow the use of nonwoven fabrics in apparel and interiors.
Frequency of Meetings:  2 per year

APPLICATIONS of BONDING & CONVERTING  COMMITTEE
Plans INDA’s Applications of Bonding & Converting Conference, held every other year and advises the association on activities of interest to the industry.
Frequency of Meetings:  4 per year

FILTRATION STEERING COMMITTEE
Advises the association on the activities of interest to the industry and plans the annual Filtration conference.

FLUSHABILITY TASK FORCE
A task force of the Technical Advisory Board.  Develop industry-wide agreed to guidelines for assessing flushable products and flushable claims including consumer wipes.  Coordinates closely with EDANA's Flushability Committee to assure harmonized standards for North America and Europe.

FURNITURE & BEDDING FLAMMABILITY TASK FORCE
The mission of this task force is to help develop flammability standards for the upholstered and bedding industries in conjunction with state and federal agencies. 
Frequency of Meetings:  As needed

HEALTHCARE COMMITTEE
Deals with issues of interest to this industry (such as medical waste management, recycling, and safety, national and international standards); promotes single use nonwovens to the medical industry; advocates tariff positions; works with INDA’s Governmental Relations Director to lobby for the industry’s legislative interests; tracks state regulations and legislation.

INDUSTRIAL WIPES FOCUSED INTEREST GROUP
Deals with issues of the Industrial Wipes Industry; promotes industrial wipes; works to support interests of the industry. 
Frequency of Meetings:  As Needed

ISO REPRESENTATION
Works within ISO TC38 WG4 to harmonize global nonwovens methods with ISO.  Maintains relations with other international standards organizations.

STANDARD TEST METHODS COMMITTEE
Reviews approved test methods and introduces new methods in cooperation with EDANA's committee.  Works with EDANA and other nonwovens associations to bring test methods to ISO.  Acts as liaison between INDA, ASTM, ISO and EDANA.

SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE
To foster/protect the growth and health of people, the planet and profits…for now and future generations.

TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD (TAB)
Advises the association and its technical committees, including conference-planning committees, on the technical issues and activities of interest to the industry; oversees the activities of the Standard Test Methods Committee and provides liaison with the academic community.
Frequency of Meetings:  4 per year

VISION ADVISORY GROUP
Plans Vision, a consumer products conference and advises INDA on activities of interest to the consumer industry.

WOW (World of Wipes) COMMITTEE
Advises the association on the activities of interest to the industry and plans the World of Wipes Conference
