INDA Releases Landmark Report on Nonwovens Industry in India Rapid growth is expected in a market many feel is “the next China” CARY, NC — April 11, 2007 — The immense potential of the nonwovens industry in India – from raw material supply to consumer end products – is detailed in “INDIA 2007-2012 Nonwovens Outlook,” a first-ever Nonwovens Statistical Report for this emerging economic and textile powerhouse. Published by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, INDIA 2007-2012 provides an in-depth look at trends and forecasts for doing business in India, which is now the second fastest growing economy in the world with a GDP that is growing in excess of 8% per year and with a middle class that now numbers nearly 300 million.
