CARY, N.C. — January 23, 2007 — Emerging and vast opportunities for making and selling nonwovens and technical textiles in India will be the subject of the inaugural “Link With India,” an International Conference to Develop Business Relations and Share Technologies in India.

Organized  by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, and co-sponsored by media partners such as leading Indian textile industry magazines, Indian Textile Journal, Colourage, India  and Nonwovens Industry, USA the Conference, set for October 2007 in Mumbai, India, will link attendees to new markets, sales and business partners in this emerging market.

“India’s growing middle-class now numbers more than 300 million and it is proving to be an outstanding market for nonwovens and technical textiles,” points out INDA President Rory Holmes.

“Now is the time to develop worldwide business relations with India for all facets of technical textiles, and the goal of Link With India is to bring the right people from India together with partners from North America and around the world,” Holmes adds.

The Conference, featuring speakers from the entire nonwovens and technical textiles business, including importing, technical, marketing and government, will focus on the region’s key markets and bring together business partners in the fields of filtration, geotextiles, automotives, hygiene, medical, wipes and consumer products.
