INDA Adds Government Relations/International Trade Connection To Its Association Website

CARY, NC — March 27, 2005 — As part of its commitment to develop and provide benefits for all of its member companies, INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has added a government relations/international trade connection to its website (www.inda.org).

"Part of the mandate from our members is for us to provide information and follow-up on issues related to legislation, regulations and international trade," says Peter Mayberry, Director of Government Affairs, INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, based in Cary, NC. "To make it easier for members to find this importation we have brought all of these components together in one central location – http://www.inda.org/events/global/government.html.”

Available only to INDA member companies, the Government Relations/International Trade Connection will continuously expand to incorporate other relevant information. Currently the site is divided into four distinct, easy-to-navigate sections:

• General Information Designed to keep INDA members informed about issues impacting the nonwoven fabrics industry, this section includes: links to Capitol Comments; the International Trade Bulletin; 2005 Tariff Data; and press releases.
• Congressional Outreach Initiative Intended to supplement INDA’s ongoing effort to educate members of Congress about nonwovens, this section includes: a listing of Congressional Offices visited; Annual Congressional Reception details; and information about how to arrange appointments with your elected Representatives and Senators.
• Committee Information Designed to keep INDA members up-to-date and involved in the work being done by INDA’s Committees and Focused Interest Groups, this section includes: committee rosters; meeting minutes; comments filed with government officials; and information describing you how you can get involved.
• Federal Register Notices In recognition of the important work being done by the United States Executive Branch, this section will allow you to access any number of Federal agency notices impacting the nonwovens industry that are published in the Federal Register.
