BIOGRAPHY
Rebecca is a respected sexual wellness expert and entrepreneur. She has worked as a researcher for over 10 years with various startups including Nuelle, which created a sexual arousal device for women and was acquired in 2017.In 2016, Rebecca was inspired to make a conscious lifestyle change to live and eat as organic, plant-based and non-toxic as possible after caring for her mom with cancer. When she shifted her focus to intimate care products, she was shocked at how heavily unregulated and toxic the products on the market are.
This inspired her to create The Bloomi, the first platform that provides a full spectrum of healthy intimate care products for hygiene, menstrual cycle and sexual wellness needs as well as research-based content. All products are screened in-house are and 100% non-toxic. The mission of the company is to inspire women and femmes to the CEO of their body.
Rebecca graduated from UC Berkeley with a major she created, Women’s Health & Sexuality, and holds a Master’s in Sexuality Studies. When she is not running her startup, she loves hiking, making smoothies and listening to inspirational podcasts. She is based in Oakland where she is enjoying her expanding family and is expecting her second baby in 2019.
