The RISE® Durable Product Award is to recognize and reward innovation in new durable products that utilize nonwoven fabrics in a way that expands the usage of nonwovens. Presented annually at the RISE® Conference, eligible durable product categories include, but are not limited to: geotextiles, automotive applications, long-life filters construction, furniture and durable household products. Join the finalists as they present their innovations to RISE attendees. The winner will be announced Wednesday afternoon.

Our latest and revolutionary strand applicator can provide customers in the disposable hygiene market with the highest line efficiencies. The new technology has a patent pending design and the highest efficiency adhesive coating on strands ever designed to provide the best product performance and less product issues. The new Ultra SCS features the next level high-speed technology (up to 1400 pads per minute – 700 MPM) as well as Rapid Change-Over (RCO) design for quick maintenance solutions, among many other beneficial features.

The new Gebecon needle from Groz-Beckert has the advantages of a standard conical needle when it comes to a reduction of needle breakage with the advantages of a standard working blade. The stability of the Gebecon needle provides a high surface quality with excellent results in needling efficiency. This new needle has been an instant success in the market with all customers running trials on this needle in the US placing orders for additional needles. This needle could be used in a number of different market areas.
