Rhonda is president of Scientific & Regulatory Consultants, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in regulatory and scientific affairs relating to antimicrobial pesticidal products. She has over 25 years of experience in the antimicrobial/biocide industry. Rhonda holds a microbiology degree from Indiana University and is a registered microbiologist with the National Registry of Microbiologist.

Rhonda specializes in the microbiological aspects of registering and development of antimicrobial products with EPA, FDA and other international regulatory bodies.  She assists registrants, suppliers, trade associations, laboratories and other clients to design antimicrobial studies to demonstrate a product's effectiveness, thus she is frequently consulted to help in the evaluation of new technology and devices, address study flaws, failing data, 6a2 issues, Antimicrobial Testing Program (ATP) outcomes, and the development of new efficacy protocols.

Rhonda is a member of the Chemical Specialty Products Association (CSPA) Antimicrobial Division Board.  In addition, she has served as the Division Program Chair for 20 years. She has actively participated in efficacy standard setting bodies including ASTM, AOAC, and OECD; authoring several methods over the years. She has been actively involved with the Antimicrobial Coalition, a joint working group of members from PCPC and ACI since it formed in 1994.  This group works with FDA on topical antimicrobial product regulations for hand sanitizers, surgical scrubs, antimicrobial washes, etc.  She has actively participated with the Canadian CSPA and Health Canada to publish revised efficacy guidance for disinfectant testing.
