About the AATCC PTP
The AATCC invites you to participate in the 2026 Proficiency Testing Program (PTP). This annual initiative helps textile labs worldwide:
- Benchmark performance
- Verify testing accuracy
- Support certification and quality assurance initiatives
- Identify areas for improvement
Seven targeted programs cover key testing areas: Antibacterial Properties, Appearance & Physical Properties, Color Evaluation, Colorfastness, Fiber Analysis, Moisture Management, and Resistance & Repellency. Each round features carefully selected samples for meaningful, consistent results.
Each participating lab receives:
- Standardized samples and instructions
- One month to complete testing and submit results
- Confidential performance reports
- A Certificate of Participation
