DURHAM, N.C., October 27, 2025 – The 2026 AATCC Proficiency Testing Program (PTP) is now available for your lab to register! The program makes it easy for textile labs to measure their testing accuracy and support quality assurance. Online registration at https://www.aatcc.org/ptpallows companies to register for the PTPs in easy steps. Just add PTP registration(s) to your cart along with AATCC quality control materials, standards, and other items.

About the AATCC PTP

The AATCC invites you to participate in the 2026 Proficiency Testing Program (PTP). This annual initiative helps textile labs worldwide:

  • Benchmark performance
  • Verify testing accuracy
  • Support certification and quality assurance initiatives
  • Identify areas for improvement

Seven targeted programs cover key testing areas: Antibacterial Properties, Appearance & Physical Properties, Color Evaluation, Colorfastness, Fiber Analysis, Moisture Management, and Resistance & Repellency. Each round features carefully selected samples for meaningful, consistent results.

Each participating lab receives:

  • Standardized samples and instructions
  • One month to complete testing and submit results
  • Confidential performance reports
  • A Certificate of Participation
