Participation on INDA Committees provides a platform for INDA Members to network with their peers on an informal basis. Plus, INDA Members will be helping to shape the direction and scope of INDA Events, Harmonized Test Methods and key issues facing the nonwovens industry.   Helps to promote and grow the use of nonwoven fabrics in apparel and interiors.

• Converting & Bonding Conference Planning Committee
  Plans INDA’s Converting & Bonding (CAB) Conference.

• Filtration Conference Planning Committee
  Plans the annual Filtration Conference.

• Flushability Task Force
  Develops industry-wide guidelines for assessing flushable products and flushable claims for consumer wipes. Coordinates closely with EDANA’s Flushability Committee to ensure harmonized guidelines for North America and Europe.

• Furniture & Bedding Flammability Task Force
  Helps develop flammability standards for the upholstered and bedding industries in conjunction with state and federal agencies.

• Healthcare Committee
  Deals with such issues as medical waste management, recycling, safety, national and international standards. Promotes single use nonwovens to the medical industry, advocates tariff positions, works with INDA’s Director of Government Affairs to track state regulations and legislation.

• Industrial Wipes Focused Interest Group
  Promotes the use of industrial wipes and works with federal agencies on issues affecting the industrial wipes industry.

• ISO Representation
  Works within ISO TC38 WG4 to harmonize global nonwovens methods with ISO. Maintains relations with other international standards organizations.

• RISE Committee (by invitation only)
  Plan, implement and evaluate an annual technology and innovation conference. Pursues information regarding the latest technological advancements within the nonwoven and engineered fabrics industry, as well as innovation methodologies to advance the industry.

• Standard Test Methods Committee
  Reviews approved test methods and introduces new methods in cooperation with EDANA’s Committee. Works with EDANA and other nonwovens associations to bring test methods to ISO. Acts as liaison between INDA, ASTM, ISO and EDANA.

  Fosters/protects the growth and health of people, the planet and profits . . . for now and future generations.
