Less Than 1% Now Leaves Procter & Gamble as Waste
Zero can be a pretty cool number. Especially when it comes to waste. Everyone has waste whether you’re at home, the office or in a manufacturing plant. You look at what you’re throwing away, wonder if it’s recyclable or not and feel guilty for throwing it in the trash. Procter & Gamble is tackling this issue head-on with their zero manufacturing waste to landfill initiative. They have achieved a remarkable less than 1% waste leaving their manufacturing facilities. On a side note, did you know that P&G has been in business for 175 years?
