Mentor-Student Relationships Helping Fight the U.S. Dropout Crisis; Potential to Save the Country $8 Billion Annually

Every 26 seconds in the U.S., one student drops out of school and one-third of high school students don’t graduate on time. With these shocking numbers comes some encouraging news . . . Procter & Gamble has launched its second annual GIVE Education “School the Nation” campaign aimed to increasing awareness and encouraging people to become mentors. Just think of all the great things that could be accomplished if all those young people could be turned on to science and mathematics . . . or even nonwovens.
