Special Issue: Emerging Issues in Management and Marketing for Textiles and Apparel
Raleigh, NC, May 18, 2020 – Global textile and apparel markets present numerous challenges for consumer and industrial brands. The complexity and interdependence of global textile and apparel supply chains create an environment of risk and reward for global brands. The purpose of this issue is to examine the emerging challenges for marketers and brand managers in the textile and apparel industry. Submissions related to marketing in digital environments, managing supply chains, marketing analytics, sustainability and ethics as they impact global apparel brands are examples of applicable work for the special issue.
Please submit an extended abstract that covers the purpose, objectives, justification/contribution, brief methodological approach (if applicable) and cursory findings. The extended abstract should adhere to APA formatting and should not exceed three pages total including Figures and Tables. (References are not included in your three page total). Abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be invited to submit full papers for journal publication.
