Located in what is known as “Upstate South Carolina,” Greenville is the state’s second-largest city. It’s about halfway between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, and like its larger neighbors, it is a thriving business center. The city was known as the “Textile Center of the World” back in 1917, but today the Greenville area is home to a wide range of industries and dozens of international companies, including BASF, BMW and Michelin.Selecting Greenville to host INDA’s first CAB Conference was a natural. The average daily high temperature for April is 71° F, and if you have never visited or lived in the Southern U.S. during the spring, you’re in for a treat. Flowering plants and bright seasonal colors should be out in full force, especially in the beautiful downtown park just a few blocks away from the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
