opportunities and challenges facing the global industrial and consumer wipes’ business
are the focus of the 2012 World of Wipes® (WOW) International Conference,
set for June 5-7 at the Hotel InterContinental in Chicago, Illinois USA.
Expected to attract hundreds of participants from all links in the global wipes supply chain, WOW 2012 will provide three days of educational seminars and networking, along with the presentation of the prestigious World of Wipes Innovation Award™ recognizing companies that bring new and value-added processes and products to the wipes’ marketplace.

INDA Releases New Global Spunlaced Report
New industry report details the rapid global growth of spunlaced/hydroentanglement
Global production of spunlaced
nonwovens grew an average of 9.5% for the past five years to a total of 819,000
tons in 2011, according to a recently released report – “Global
Spunlaced Technology Markets and Trends — 2011-2016” – from
INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry. The report projects that
the spunlaced market, whose largest markets are NAFTA (Canada, Mexico and the
United States), Europe and China, will continue to grow at an average rate
of 8.2% a year through 2016.
