Edition Four of the Guidelines
4th Ed Flushability Assessment Guidelines (2018)
The guidelines are the result of collaboration between two industry associations: INDA, the leading association of nonwoven fabrics industry and EDANA, the European-based association serving the nonwovens and related industries. Technical experts have worked together to develop an overall approach and a set of test methods which are based on the pooled experience of individual companies and draw on expertise from academia, consultancy and the wastewater industry. The deadline to adopt the Fourth Edition Guidelines for Assessing the Flushability of Disposable Nonwoven Products (2018) and the Labeling Code of Practice (2nd Edition 2017) is November 1, 2018.
