Vice President Research & Development, Aurizon Ultrasonics, LLC
Tom is currently the Vice President of Research, Development, and Engineering at Aurizon Ultrasonics, LLC where he has held that position since the creation of the company in 2009. Prior to Aurizon he spent 25 years leading the research, development, and commercial implementation of high power rotary ultrasonic systems for a large global consumer products company. Tom's and his team's foundational knowledge of ultrasonic technology has enabled the development of state-of-the-art rotary ultrasonic processing equipment that Aurizon is now bringing to the global hygiene industry. He is the lead or co-inventor of sixty-one granted U.S. patents and several hundred foreign equivalents.
Aurizon Ultrasonic, LLC will provide information regarding our capability to attach elastic strands into disposable hygiene products without the use of adhesives. Aurizon has acquired an exclusive license to CERA France's intellectual property for this ultrasonic application and is looking to expand its uses and extend its capabilities.
This presentation will discuss these capabilities as well as the new aesthetic and functional product design features that become possible using Aurizon's techniques for adhesive-free, ultrasonic elastic attachment. Aurizon's heritage is from 30+ years of experience in the disposable consumer product design and manufacturing environment, giving us a unique perspective on potential capabilities and benefits to an end product that is atypical of most equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Please contact me if you wish to discuss this in more detail.
