INDA Announces 2015 World of Wipes® International Conference (WOW) to be held in Atlanta in June

Industry Game Changers, Flushability, and Retail Perspectives to Top Conference Program

Cary, NC. March 18, 2015 – The entire wipes industry will come together to learn more about the key drivers of the supply chain at the 2015 World of Wipes® International Conference (WOW), June 16-19, at the Hotel InterContinental Buckhead, in Atlanta, Ga.

Presented by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, the WOW conference is the premier and only event devoted solely to the wipes industry. Now in its 9th year, the event will feature industry-leading speakers, panel discussions, market forecasts, awards presentations, networking opportunities, and more. New this year, INDA’s WIPES Academy will be offered prior to the conference; starting June 15-16. Led by Rob Johnson, PE, Principal, Smith, Johnson & Associates, the Academy is the first and only comprehensive wipes training for the entire wipes supply chain. The course is essential for technical and management professionals interested to learn the research, development, and manufacturing of wipes. Pre-registration is required.

WOW Highlights

Attendees of the three-day WOW event will learn about industry game changers, specialty materials for industrial wipes, fragrances, wet wipe preservatives, flushability, and more, from such presenting companies as Nielsen, Dow Chemical, Jacob Holm Industries, and many others. Other speakers include major megastore, consumer product retail store, hospital, and brand owner executives sharing their insights into wipes.

Among the highlights, Carman Allison, Vice-President of Consumer Insights, Nielsen Inc., will speak on “Game Changers,” how consumer diversity, polarization, and generational shifting will change the wipes industry. A panel representing speakers from well-known global companies will join in a panel discussion on the direction and future of flushable wipes.

The annual World of Wipes Innovation Award™ will be presented. This prestigious award recognizes innovation in the wipes value chain that advances the use of nonwovens.
