West Michigan Company Hopes to Expand Market for Water Filters Through Sales of ‘Carbon Offsets’

Most people are aware that there are parts of the world where water is scarce and clean water even harder to come by. A company out of Michigan is hoping to relieve some of that burden by offering a new program to distribute more of their filters into third world areas where they are needed the most. This filtration product could make a dent in the numbers of lives lost each year due to waterborne illnesses . . . with an added benefit of helping companies become a little more carbon neutral.
