ANDRITZ announces successful start-up of the needlepunch line supplied to AUTOTECH Nonwovens, India

ANDRITZ neXline needlepunch: high-quality production of nonwoven technical felts

Graz, March 20, 2017. ANDRITZ Nonwoven, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has successfully started up a complete needlepunch line – from webforming to needlepunching – supplied to AUTOTECH Nonwovens, India.

The ANDRITZ neXline needlepunch offers high production capacities – from opening/blending to finishing – and is able to handle up to 700 kg/h needlepunch fabrics, depending on the raw materials. The scope of supply also included an eXcelle Dynamic double card, a Dynamic crosslapper, a drafter, and several needlelooms. The complete process is controlled by the ProDyn closed-loop system, which corrects variations in the web profile in order to meet extremely demanding requirements.
